Shri Arun Sinha is an internationally renowned expert in print media and printing technology
and a respected name in India and abroad for his contribution to this field and its allied
disciplines. Over the course of his long and distinguished career, he has made significant
contributions to print journalism, government printing, publication management, and the
technological modernization of printing institutions.
He has traveled extensively across the world and has worked closely with the governments of
various countries to support advancement and modernization in printing and publication systems.
His expertise has been instrumental in the upgradation of institutions under state governments,
central government departments, universities, and autonomous bodies. As a printing technology
specialist, he has been associated with several prestigious national and international
organizations and has represented India at numerous global forums.
Shri Sinha served the Government of India for nearly 42 years, holding several senior leadership
positions and discharging key administrative, technical, and policy-level responsibilities at
multiple locations across the country. His tenure reflects a rare combination of technical
excellence, administrative leadership, and visionary policy implementation.
He also served for several years at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA),
Ministry of Culture, Government of India, where he made notable contributions in the areas of
art, culture, documentation, and publication development.
Currently, Shri Arun Sinha remains actively engaged in academics, contributing to the teaching
of journalism and mass communication and providing guidance to universities and reputed academic
institutions. He also continues to advise on infrastructure development, printing technology,
and media modernization projects in India and abroad, sharing his vast experience for the
advancement of media and knowledge systems.
